Phone arena. Yoir claim that Samsung is losing its kind over this? Shown proof or stop lying.

Again you just cant write about one company or the other without mentioning th3 two together.

The only thing Samsjngbis hoping, the device does well so they can get more money from Apple.

Samsung 8byears of experience with this form factor isn't gonna be erased with just one device from Apple.

Your false claims and oversensationlizong the title is just really stupid. Do better.

Samsung already is a ware of what Apple was doing because they made the display. Yet they managed to make a much better device.

The inside and outside of the Fold 8 is amazing and itnisnt ugly. Samsung's 1st foldable was ugly too. But there is a difference when you are making something for thr very 1st time vs Apple who had 8nyears to watch others and their 1st device is this bad.

Imagine Smasung as a car company making a car from scratch when nonetheless car existed and then Apple comes 8byears later and makes a car worse than any car made in 8 years. That is what we have here.

Your Samsung claim is a lie. If it isn't I want you to post the source. Samsung isn't worried about Apple they never been. Samsung is the world top OEM. Apple is a stain on Samsung windshield.

2 app limit is fine. What else you need to do? I'm pretty sure picture in picture video will still work and counts as a third. I can't understand what you realistically need 3+ apps for. Even on my laptop I generally only split 2 apps and swipe between open apps.

PA - your paragraph about the 2 apps side by side only seems deliberate because they dont want to eat into iPad sales is lame. 1st off it is going to anyways. Regardless. Next it isn't deliberate. It is just iOS restrictive nature.

Many Apple fans will own everything Apple. IPad sales have already been falling because once you buy one, you dont need another for at least 5 years b3cause of hr update cycle and the device really has changed in a decade.

You guys continue to make the most lame excuses for why Apple doesn't do one thing or another. But if this was Samsung, you use harsh eveil wording...but not with Apple. You basically grease their arse with a slick tongue.

The reason the devixe seems so limited is because, Apple didn't take the time to develop the software around it. They rushed because after 8 years, you shouldn't be making any excuse when Apple has enough products they can buy and look at to see what other did and see what they they want to replicate, iraticate or make from new.

But instead they took iPad OS which is just iOjone OS with resized app pages, took out the cool things the ipad can do and shove it into a smaller product.

Now as with the iPhone which has a terrible one handed mode and no splitscreen apps at all, Samsung has a huge upper hand here. Like you said most other devices can have at least 3 apps onscreen. Tablets have 4 or even more.

Now to be fair, mobile operating system even if made from their desktop counterparts, have a bunch of things removed to scale the OS down.

I think the A chip isn't as powerful on iOS as itnis on Mac OS. Even the iPad doesn't multitask all that well vs Android tablets.

But you guys just keep on giving Apple a free pass which is why they keep taking yoir money and giving you the bare miming. You all so use to paying more and getting less, you sit and criticize products thst offer so much and then you rip them if they remove anything but you dont say nothing about Apple.

It too Apple 15 years just to bring real capability to the iPhone that we had in mist cases from 2009.

That is ridiculous, but you always bragging about how much money they make. Well since they make so much. Then they should be able to make far better products and they dont. They dont have too because they have all you fools locked in because you cant take most of it with you if you leave.

I am so glad I left Apple after my iPhone 4's. That was the best texh decision I ever made. That and never buying a Mac again after the Mac Air and Pro I had were just terrible to use vs lower cisting Windowd machines.

I can. Here is an example. I am a technician. Many times I have my email, calculator, and also many times a banking app open at the same time on my tablet. I dont want to have to switch one of the apps all the tome. I need them both visible.

Also when I am on aacall, i have the call in the background, while I have a floor plan on one screen, calculator open to do measurements and scientific functions, and I also will have a convertor app open to math out measurements.

Many times I also have a chat windownopen in Google Chat, along with a Wahtapps chat window and email at the same time.

Everyone usage is different. Some people might wanna have 4 apps open. It is not just about webther you need ot not. Guess what yoi don't need a folding phone or a curved tv, but we have them.

When I use an even bigger screen like my tablet or laptop, sometimes I have as many as 6 different windows open, especially when I am not in a situation where I have 2 screens available.

We shouldn't be limited to things just based on device capability. Expand the capability and let us decide to use it to outlining. Limiting it out the box like this is terrible

The more I read about this thing, the more it seems like an expensive gimmick. Maybe I’m just not the type of user it’s targeting.

I don't really think any of the Duo's shortcomings will really matter. I'm sure it didn't matter when the first leaks of its hardware and software surfaced. This is a device people want because it marks Apple's first foldable device and just the sheer fact that people want it and don't necessarily need it. It's a device to use when you want to flex. A status symbol of sorts. I don't discount the capabilities of this device and I appreciate the overhaul that Apple had to do to make iOS work cohesively on it. I'm excited just the same about its announcement and eventual release. I will be buying one if I'm lucky enough to get it on preorder.

The z fold looks cheap next to it.

The criticism online misses the mark. Having used the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, side-by-side multitasking is great, but anything beyond that—especially floating pop-up windows—just gets in the way and clutters the interface. That said, Apple executes split-view much better: it looks cleaner and takes fewer steps to trigger, whereas Samsung's setup feels unnecessarily tedious by comparison.

But it ain't cheap and in durability tests as always Samsung holds up. We all know many Apple thin devices snap in half even recently
