I'll believe it when I see it. I find it hard to believe that Samsung, which were hesitant to use a technology that other brands already tested on their behalf (si/c) will just jump in with a new untested technology like ssd batteries and sell it on their flagships right away. If they do, I'm curious how big those batteries will be, in terms of capacity. Because if we're talking a bump from 5000 mAh to 6000 mAh, then that's hardly compelling. And if they're bigger capacity, I'm sure Samsung will use this opportunity to price gouge the heck of their customers just because they finally get better battery life. If they added this technology and charged the same, it could be a game changer for Samsung but I doubt that'll be the case.
I dont mean to be a Debbie downer but if I had a dollar for every time I heard solid state batteries are eminent, I would be at my local BMW dealer buying my new M4. I hope it happens soon but I am not holding my breath.
Well it is almost certain the price is not staying the same or going down not matter what the battery technology is. Only the Chinese manufacturers have cheap enough labor to help limit prices and they are, for the most part, a non starter in the US. Also i personality find your "mined by kid" comment offensive even if it was meant to be ironic.

As long as it's not mined by your kids, am I right?
