Given the issues with the Pixel 11 series, it’s no surprise they’re resorting to price cuts to move units. I honestly don't see how anyone could consider this an upgrade; you’d have to be ignorant to think these devices are worth the purchase.

Said so by an Apple fan.

Come on, dude. Even you know I'm right about this. Tell me otherwise—prove to me that Google didn't completely drop the ball on this release.

$150 off a phone where the developers of Genshin Impact said "the new PowerVR GPU (in the G6 Tensor chip) simply doesn't meet Genshin Impact's minimum requirements."

No, thanks.

All OEMs are phoning it in at this point (pun acknowledged but not intended). Competition is all but erased between each other - there is parity everywhere with only personal preferences driving someone's decision. Which was already decided when a consumer bought their last device or even before that.

The only competition OEMs have at this point is the economic trend of the globe and the free cash people have to spend on luxuries like $1000+ phones when they have one that works.

Very few people switch OEMs, just like very few people switch anything unless their lifestyle requires it (family grows, economic hardship, their first choice goes away completely, etc.).
