I have had nothing but issues with service since the start of the year. After calls two to three times a week I get that whole line of bull too. "We can fix that!" Yeah right. After all this time they swindle me into replacing my current phone at the time Samsung Galaxy A14. Right . They said it was too old. They would give me an "upgrade" which will fix my service issue. I decided to give it a try. They promised it would fix my network problems. Well guess what. Not anything better in many ways it's worse. So I called them again and told them I gave it the allotted time and it's still trash. Many occasions I couldn't even get emergency service for calling 9-1-1 if I needed to. Mind you I'm surrounded by 5g toward along with many other towers. I lose service. I have to use Wi-Fi for everything from making calls to sending messages. They tell well I will e billed for the remaining balance of this shhh phone they promised would fix my issues. I told them I wanted to drop them and go to a new provider since they can't fix their issues. They made an update to their network in my area January or Feb of 2026. That's when my problem started and they blamed it on the phone to keep me from changing providers then threaten to send me to collections if I don't pay them. I have been a customer with them for over 2 years. Never called for anything. This is how they treat customers. They lie to sell us their big commission sales and yeah they tried to plug me into a more expensive plan as well. Luckily I managed to back out of it before I was stuck with that. I am talking with a lawyer to sue them as an accountability response to their deceiving sales tactics. The most unethical practice I have ever came in contact with in my life. Verizon is a scam giant. Yes all they do is exactly that they scam people then threaten them and all we get is A.I. correspondence which is absolutely no help. The purpose of business like Verizon using A.I. is to build a gap between us as customers and them as a business. They just want our money and for us to shut up and deal with it.

Did you son go into a corporate store, franchise store or do the order online? At the end of each order your son would have had to review and sign for it to before it could have been activated. Especially at corporate or done online. Franchise store could be tricky here. Evern though corporate store are simply retail sales they can atleast get into the right direction on what to do where to go and even possible get you on the phone with a live agent quicker. Trust me not all experiences are like this. I have a great experiences with my Verizon corporate store and will continue to support them. Ice recommended a host of family and friends to my local corporate store they have all had great experiences. Everyone always want to buy online or over the phone and then want to bring their problems to the store afterwards. Smh. Starting with them from the beginning no issues would have came about.

You clearly work for Verizon and have their scam hustle down like a champ. You are probably the one who lied to me about my new phone and tricked me into this bulls**t contract. Those words are the words of a verizon employer looking for that raise.

Why not just switch to Visible, it’s like 450 gigs soft capped on Verizon QCI8, I’m paying $33 a month currently for the plus pro plan, which includes a free Apple Watch line. It seems ridiculous to even pay for simplicity when we have plans like this nowadays, and with customer service like it is, I’m fine with no retail store anyway.

Straighttalk has an incredible service network too. Every where he goes he has full service while I seen my phone say "no network available, no emergency service at this time."

Did you tell AI that I've written countless articles about similar situations involving non-related customers?

Solution is to file a FTC complaint. I was able to resolve an unknown charge tacked on to a bill within a week of the complaint filing

I'm one of the ones who prefers the direction T-Mobile is going in. Why? Because I've worked in those call centers for a few carriers. I've seen the issues, coached about them to get nowhere, fixed them, and I understood why reps do what they do. I'd rather make my selections and changes myself because it's really not hard. There's too many conflicting agendas to trust a sales agent with a service that important to me.

What has happened is typical for any of the big three. T mobile used to be different but not any more.

And customer service replaced by AI bots and the incredible mess and frustration it causes - at least nine out of ten big companies do that.and because everyone does it customers have no choice and have to endure this.

AT&T does the same thing. They promise customers one plan and then sign them up for the highest plan. They flat out lie to customers. Due to unrealistic metrics and threatening to fire reps this is why they do this. Yes they care about customers but they have to feed their families and themselves, they have to pay bills to keep their house and the electricity on. The managers over them are in the same situation, so they tell reps what to do to try to meet insane ridiculous metrics. Call Center jobs are the worse and believe me most reps hate the situation they are in but if you cant get another job that is your only option. Few ppl get out of Call Center jobs and the ones that do they will tell you the same thing. Those jobs weren't bad 20 years ago but they are the absolute worst now. These companies don't treat them their employees well so you think these agents gonna risk their job for any, nope. It's sad and messed up but how it is. AI has made it worse becuz it takes ppl thru circles and sometimes hangs up on ppl. These company want to get every penny out of you that they can, then make commercials about making it right which they don't. Next time ask for a Manager. They will get you to a Team Lead as required by their metrics, then see if that supposed manager can get you to Office of the President(Escalation group). They may have more power to help you.

The reason that companies are using AI is because despite the fact its common for reps to make six figures, they cant attract enough reps to the industry, mainly because of customers just like you. First you complain about AI, then you insult anyone you think is a rep not realizing they likely make way more money than you could ever dream of making. Here's a tip: expecting a phone like an A14 is going to solve all your connectivity issues is pretty ridiculous and you can use AI to do something called research since no human being will measure up to your crazy unicorn and rainbow standards. You dont need a better network, you need a better job.

This sure rings true to us!! We've also been with Verizon over 25 years and the customer service is a shell of what it once was. I recently upgraded a phone to an A26Ultra and was quoted a very specific monthly total charge for the phones and service on our account. I checked the account within two days and found all four of our lines had been upgraded to Ultimate, which I absolutely said we didn't want!! It took days to straighten out. I was so angry I returned the S26 Ultra and demanded everything be restored to what the account showed prior to this trade-in. It turns out the store we've always used sold out to a 3rd party six months ago!! The only corporate store is now 45 miles away!

Did they actually send you an agreement in store?
