If you NEED a good phone, the 11 is a pretty good phone. If you DO NOT need a new phone, just keep the one you have. Not just google, but samsung, apple and others it's just not worth the money, to upgrade every year!.

My 9 Pro XL still works perfectly. Heck, I'll probably keep it for a total of 4 years or more!

Google knows how to do an entry: the Pixel 6 is my evidence. So, with the release of the Googlebook this year, I would assume Google would hold back on innovation to focus on the "GooglebookOS". Otherwise, if the Pixel 11 outshined the Googlebook's, Google would have some not-so-happy OEMs after them. If we continued to look at the significance of the Googlebook, it marks Google's expedition into the premium laptop category (just as the Pixel 6 ventured into the premium smartphone category). My theory is that the main selling point for Pixel will be the Googlebook ecosystem, and that Google is instead sparing the innovation for the Pixel 12 (2nm process, silicon-carbon battery, etc.)
