Vivo cleaned up here. However, those zoom shots look completely AI processed. Will people in China buy it over the iphone? Doubt it. That's the problem.
The problem with Vivo, is they have a subpar in store customer service experience to Huawei, Xiaomi, Honor, and Oppo. The stores look nice but I often find they are less trained on customer service and the products. This is across several stores I have been to.
Huawei is the most premium experience, and then I would say Honor, then Xiaomi. So even if Vivo makes the better phone, overall people think Vivo is a crap company compared to Apple. This is just my lived experience being there and talking to friends. When I was buying the X300 Ultra with camera kit this year, all of my friends were like, "You'll spend that much on a VIVO!?!?! It's not worth it".
I always go back to Apple has the best marketing. They make people think they have the best phones, even when they don't. If only a company like HTC could have captured that! Man I miss HTC.
