The Pixel 11 Pro fell out of the news cycle far too quickly.

The statement that the Pixel 11 Pro fell out of the news cycle too quickly is a massive understatement; the phone was an absolute failure.

I like the Pixel 11 series. Yes not huge upgrades more like a S year. But about the Google Pixel 12 Pro. We dont know anything about it yet. Any leaks will probably come in some months.

I have the 17pm, fold 7, and now the pixel 11 pro xl. I've said it before and I'll say it again - of the three phones the one I can't put down and adds more value to my daily life is the pixel..ironic since it's the "lesser" phone spec wise. Paper specs don't always equate to the "better" phone..sometimes, but not always. So maybe it was a "failure" compared to sales on the sammy and iphones, but for me the pixel is the one I daily now.

Most people who actually used the Pixel 11 series are already pixel fans. I was not. I previously rocked the fold 7 and the iphone 17pm side by side. I gave the pixel a chance because I was too bored with the iphone, and the foldable gave me too much anxiety about damage from dust/water (because I do travel quite a bit). I actually really like the pixel, I see now why people like it so much. It's a great alternative to the other two, and If I lived my life based on the opinions of others I would have never given the pixel a chance.

At the end of the day, people are entitled to their preferences, and we are all here just to share our honest opinions. I’ve been an iPhone user since the beginning, and while I’ve used devices like the Note 2 through the Note 20 and various Asus ROG phones, I always find myself returning to Apple. Transitioning back to iOS felt like a breath of fresh air after experiencing frustrating issues with Android—specifically, when an update from version 11 to 12 caused my main apps to crash for days. That experience was a dealbreaker for me, and I don’t think I’ll ever use an Android device as my daily driver again. I love my Galaxy Fold 8 Ultra, but I simply wouldn't use it as my primary phone. Thats me i cant have a unreliable device. I understand every device will have issues but not like that.

Google needs to stop settling for mediocrity and listen to the fans: give the Pixel 12 series a great, larger battery (5,500 mAh for the Pro and 6,000 mAh for the XL) and true fast charging (at least 65W), and bring back the SIM card slot. It’s also time to sell in more countries if they really want to compete with Samsung and Apple; it’s a disgrace that a company with such financial resources doesn't do this—they don't even officially sell Pixels in Puerto Rico, even though we are U.S. citizens.

I don't think they are between a rock and a hard place. They are officially over as a legitimate threat to Samsung and Apple. The pixel 11 pro was as disappointing of an upgrade on hardware as could possibly be. I was so excited about the tensor chip being built my tsmc thought we would see big gains in performance on par with apples bionic chip. What a disgrace it was. Not only did they go down to 7 cores but they used a GPU for the commodore 64. I thought we were going to get a 8 core 2nm power beast with an upgraded GPU. Only thing upgraded was the modem that they finally realized needed to be done since the pixel 6. I think any chance of people switch for Apple to Google went out the window with the 11 pro. They will need to put their phones back in the mid range area 699 to 999.
