T-Mobile has become the very company that John Legere fought against!

Maybe they can start mailing their clients contents of the chat for transparency and clarification purposes. It's important that there is a record incase there are any disparities between what was said and what was billed. I Wonder if they stopped it because of that old lady that got a settlement from them because of a bill they didn't previous advise her that she had.

It's ok block it I have a second phone so I record it or take pictures. I should have stayed at Metro pcs. I did the switch over during the holidays and all their promises were lies and my promised bill ain't what I was promised it would be. It's ok come the holidays I'm done with T-Mobile. Their worse than the president at lies😂

Last week spoke with CSR on t life and reminded them that when I joined on July 13, 2017 the offered included price for life that was heavily advertised. Told them I would screenshot chat using another device. Also said I would exercise my right to start dispute/arbitration as specified by their own TOS from 2017. I asked if they would back down or what they would offer to resolve my dispute. I said if not resolved I would send a registered letter to T mobile with dispute and copy csr chat, my concerns and their original promises made on July 13, 2017. If they did not respond within 60 days would forward case to FCC for formal arbitration which T mobile would legally have to pay for per their own TOS and FCC regulations. They then offered me 6 more months at 10 dollar/month discount to avoid the litigation. Believe me they don't want this tested in court. But I will still join one of the many class actions as I don't believe they would stand a chance for a jury verdict. But they will end up settling out of court like corps always do. That is, they will pay whatever it takes to avoid accountability. You better believe it. That's why I took their 6 month discount because I'll never see a dime from the class action. But I'll still join it just in case.

As with others, I just use another phone to make videos of the chats. Also, any time I call T-Mobile, and they say this is a recorded line for quality and training purposes, I also say, "Great! I am also recording this line for quality and training purposes". I've been very lucky the past 5 years no issues, but around Covid time I did a deal and then they tried to charge me a lot more than stated. I asked for manager, held, waited, got someone else and they said they couldn't do anything. I said, "Well you said you record the calls for training purposes, why don't you listen to it". They said they don't have access to that, and I said, "That's ok, I also record calls for training purposes, I can play it for you right now". AMAZINGLY they could then "find" the recording. I held while they listened to the 15 or so minute call, and came back and said, "You're absolutely right, the rep did say that. We're sorry" and the amazing thing is, they FIXED it and I didn't have to call again. (Where as before that I felt I had to call 3 or 4 or 5 times to fix anything.

Anyways, it's a bummer they want to not let you screenshot when most ethical companies not only allow that, they'll also email you a transcript when done.

I see this being a court issue in the future. "Spoliation of evidence" is what it's called. I also see FTC getting involved in anti-consumer, anti-transparency situations. They can now lie outright if you don't have a second device to screenshot with.

Im switching to US Mobile no matter T-Mob offers me. But if you want to capture a chat just borrow another phone and take a picture of the chat. Easy easy, Bob's your uncle.

THIS FCC will do nothing. The Trump admin bows to any deep pocket corporation.

Interesting. I know T-Mobile is a big player, but one of the MVNOs tried this nonsense from Florida, Qlink, a former Obama phone carrier, and after a ton of anti consumer practices like no screenshotting chat app and forcing you to install the Qlink app to even register the device on the network (seriously...) and that app had literal ads and lock screen ads that couldn't be turned off. They eventually got picked apart by legal cases and attorneys for fraud and other issues and their offices were actually raided twice over it. They then shut permanently.
