We go through this every OS launch cycle: people chomping at the bit and flooding forums asking when will the new operating system update be released. And every year Sansung is late and then once it is released the forums are filled either complaints of glitches, software bugs or deleted features. At least when Sammy launched one of their half-baked, buggy updates you used to have the option of performing a partition cache wipe to sweep out some of the bugs but Samsung in their infinite wisdom took that useful (like so many other) feature away. This is why my current device may likely be my last Sansung.

I would much rather wait another week or 3 than have Samsung release something with significant bugs, like Google does year after year.

Anyone that thinks Samsung are a serious mobile manufacturer is kidding themselves

This is definitely a candidate for asinine comment of the year.

Samsung is about as serious as it gets. The problem is that they have to mass-produce so many devices, that they need to please EVERYNONE. That is very hard to do.

One UI 7 was delayed for a year. Then like a month later One UI 8 came out to replace it, and it already had bugs on release. Now it looks like One UI 9 isn't much better. What they need to do is focus on simplifying the skin, and not make it so heavy. Then optimize/test before releasing. Being first is not as important as providing a good experience to the person who paid for the device.
