Can't update those 💩 cameras.

I think the newer models regardless of designation are made better, have a palm friendly ergonomic design, feel lighter in the hand and have better heat retention by the predecessors. This could be the reason. While the design was state of the art for the products timing the sharp edges and lack of ventilation spots proved its not easy to hold unto it for longer times without leaving hand aches and wrist strains. Even with the new ones when holding sideways you do get pains if you play a game for longer than 1 hr. The new design makes it easier to type with your thumbs as opposed to a one hander phone. The sharper corner might even leave stressed indents on the palm of the hand as opposed to these ones that rest nicely above your palm if you place your index finger in the middle like where a split screen begins. I'm purposely keeping my phone way past the shelf life because of these greedy bastards. Don't give them the $800 for a phone. They'll get the message.

How long you expect a company to support a product? They can't forever?

With that last update, the phone will be good for another 5 years at least. My 5 year old Note 20 ultra jasnt had an update in awhile other than a few patches and none of the apps I use are requiring any recent version of Android yet.

Just do what works for you, and let other spend they money how they please. All corporations are greedy

Hasn't stopped anyone from buying their stuff if they want ot regardless of price if it is what they want and that includes you. You will pay what is being asked or you won't be getting it, regardless of price.

How many pjomes can have their hardwarenupdated after it has been manufactured? The camera in your device can't be updated either.

And the S23U already has the HPx 200MP sensor. What other phone has a high Map camera. Andactually the camera sensor can be updated and tweak with its drivers, to make it work better just like any other product.

Stop sounding so hateful of Samsung because plenty of phone are also using old sensors.

No one has a sensor better than the HPx series. Not even those 1" not actually 1" sensors. They do better in certain scenarios like all cameras, but overall no Android phone has better cameras than the S Ultra that I am aware of. I do know some phone that surely give it a food run for th3 money.
