Discussion - Many Pixel fans seem ready to abandon the Pixel 11, and I think I know why

I agree with the author of the piece. My wife had a Pixel 8 and got a discount as well as a good amount on trade in so it was worth the upgrade to the pixel 11 pro. I have the 10 so I had no need to upgrade. My wife loves the 11 as it runs far better and faster than her old phone. I too will wait for the 12

I had a Pixel 6, which is due to stop getting security updates in October, so I went ahead and updated since I handle banking on my phone. I love that phone so I'm a bit sad to leave it behind.

I chose the Pixel 11 Pro (512GB) so I could get 16GB RAM to make sure my phone can handle any new AI stuff. Through Amazon, I got the phone and a $200 gift card. Not too happy about the price increase, but I always use my phone till EOL so I won't be updating for seven years now. Objectively, the price increase amid the current shortages due to the AI push seems to be the only problem people are raising. The Pixel phones since the Pixel 8 have all just been incremental upgrades regarding hardware.
