I disagree with the idea of Apple copying Android designs. Apple shouldn't adopt these features if it means inheriting the stability issues often found on other platforms. I’ve experienced firsthand how apps on Android frequently crash or become unresponsive, forcing me to deal with "app stopped responding" errors. In my experience, iOS remains significantly more stable, and I would prefer Apple to prioritize that reliability over chasing experimental design trends that compromise the user experience. Apple dont need the issues i love my fold 8 ultra but damn using the insta 360 app editing something that sh!t just crashes. Funny thing i did it on the 17 pro max and no issue app didint crash. I wonder why ohh yeah ios is alot more stable and apps are well made to work with ios unlike on the android side.
App constantly crashing just opening any 360 video on my phone
I have the newest Google pixel 10 XL ultra phone. It shouldn't be a ram issue. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I am downloading the 360 video from the camera onto my phone and trying to edit. The app freezes right up and shuts down. Any ideas? I have cleared the cache. I've restarted the phone. I've reinstalled the app. None of which have helped. Totally frustrating.
We have identified that this issue was caused by a bug in Google’s system, which prevented some applications on the phone from opening normally. However, it has now been fixed. You can try the following methods to solve this problem: upgrade to the latest Google system, uninstall and reinstall the Insta360 App.
If the issue persists, please send a video showing the issue to us.

Apple needs to copy Android just so iOS can have basic functionality that Android has had for years.
