I don’t know about the 18 Pro Max but I can certainly tell you that I captured the full lunar eclipse we had in Miami on August 27th with my 17 Pro Max, my S25 Ultra and my Razr Fold. The iPhone lagged sadly behind the Samsung and the Motorola (very surprisingly).
