All the workouts are tracked and listed within the Samsung health app on your phone are they not?

You swim? How's it doing tracking your lengths? Accurate?

On my Galaxy watch 7, I am fully able to go into my activity logs and see detailed information for every recent activity without using my phone. I find it unlikely that this feature was removed, but I suppose it is possible. I'll see when my ultra2 arrives.

I've been using Samsung watches to track indoor swimming for a few years. It doesn't use GPS signals, but it's pretty accurate for measuring your laps/distance. You need to input the pool length and it counts the laps. It also detects the style you are swimming. It's not perfect, but pretty good nonetheless.

Looks great looking forward to owning one

So you can't use the watch independently without the Samsung Health App which by the way has undergone some very exciting new changes with an all new layout for easily viewing your workout data. On the positive note this means less snatch and just do without logging in. It might be a relief for those who always lose them in the gym because they went boxing or something.
