It's near the end of 2026, and people are still on tech sites saying Huawei devices cannot access apps from a certain place easily, or are hard to get to work on American networks lol.

Huawei devices are allowed on U.S. networks, specifically the ones mentioned by ojames, and they do work fine. And with Huawei releasing global 5G devces, they will work even better now. They also easily access Android apps that are on the play store, by using app stores and services built for Huawei devices that are baked into the device or available through Huawei's own app store (HarmonyOS -- App stores/Android Emulators: EasyAbroad is available on Huawei's app store, DroiTong and its services are baked in. EMUI -- MicroG services and GBox are available in Huawei's app store). EasyAbroad and DroiTong are as easy to use as any other app store, as is GBox, and MicroG services are downloaded on EMUI Huawei devices via the Huawei app store. After installing MicroG services, you can easily download the Aurora Store from the web, for an immersive and Google free alternative to the Play Store.

https://auroraoss.com/

Banking apps also work fine on Huawei devices. I have 3 banking apps on my Huawei devices, and PayPal. All work normally.

I've mentioned most of this directly to p51d007 before, but deaf ears and all that, I guess. Some people who don't use current Huawei devices don't know what works on them, and instead of researching, because the information is everywhere, they choose to stick to falsehoods.

*ctrl+C'd & ctrl+V'd into my notes.

Thanks for that info! I know I said the same thing late last year but I'm waiting to see what Samsung does with their new joints to determine my next phone. That Pura X View is looking nice!

You're welcome! I try to post as accurate information on these sites as possibe. And tbh, I would not be using devices from any brand that didn't fit my needs and have all of the apps, connectivity and functionality that I want and need, especially at these prices.

And I'm with you about the Pura X View! My OG Pura X has basically the same size/screen real estate, but the upgraded cameras, SoC, and larger capacity battery make it a worthy replacement in my eyes. I use my Pura X unfolded 98 percent of the time, anyway.

Yea, you're not on here just rambling or fanboying. You have your preferences & speak from experience, but you're also not biased & making false claims for the sake of losing a debate.

So the Pura X is a foldable but the View isn't? Also, I see there 3 different Vivo X500's, but we can assume an Ultra is in the works as well. It's interesting how they skipped the 400 name due to a superstition, like how there is no Deck 13 on cruise ships.

Good to see you back on here, bro bro! Have you seen the Huawei Pura X View? I hope that form factor makes its way to the States, or should I call it The American Americas of America by the time 45/47 gets done with it.

Thank you.

Correct, the Pura X is a Foldable, as is the Pura X Max. The Pura X is a Flip to Wide style type of Foldable. When closed the Pura X looks like a Flip style Fold with a 3.5 inch display, but it opens up to a wide book style with a 6.39 inch inner display. It has the same width as the non-folding Pura X View when opened. The Pura X Max is in the form factor of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 and iPhone Duo. The Pura X View is the non-Foldable of the "Pura X" line.

With the Vivo X500 series, there won't be an Ultra model, from my understanding. The top end variant will be the X500 Pro Max (I know, all of the Chinese OEM's are going with that Apple-esque name now lol). One thing I'm happy about with the X500 series is that they are supposed to be getting the Atomic Workbench from Vivo's X Fold series. It's a fantastic multitasking tool:

I just received my Vivo X Fold 6 last week, and have not been able to put it down. It's that's good, especially the multitasking features. The cameras are fantastic, as well.

But Xiaomi 219g, Samsung 201g.. So is crazy.

The Razr and iPhone have digitizers for pen support, the Samsung doesn’t.

As always, thank you for that detailed breakdown.

It's crazy how I love Samsung phones, but their foldables are the reason why I'm still not sold on them just yet, while others like the Find N6 & X Fold 6 are peaking my interest in them more & more.

Dude, I'm super stoked for you! I'm not going to redundantly ask "How do you like it?" because you made that evident in that sentence I quoted. I wish Phone Arena didn't remove the PM feature because I'd shoot you my socials so I can see how you personally use it.

How long did it take for you to receive it?
