The crease never never bothered me at all. The only people that complained about it are people that don't use a foldable. All my friends that use a fold don't even mention it. And we all use different Folds not just Samsung...

Well, actually, the stylus gets stuck on the crease constantly and the draw cuts out. It is also irritatingly visible when watching movies or alike.
It doesn't bother at all when it's vertical and either tubing or otherwise wasting time, wathcing movies doesn't suffer either as much as being vertical. So, having had seven foldables, i am looking forwards to the day when it wouldn't bother. The rollables I've tested have different issues but LGs approach was interesting( we had internal projects as well).
I am yet to test how it would feel like to use a stylus on Fold8U as it doesn't support it anymore but that might be an area where the back film reduces the 'canyon'. ( also, Honor's canyon is smaller than on my fold7 so expecting 8 to be way better than 7 is)

"I thought there was no crease, lol. Everyone was saying there was no crease even before the device came out. I thought they would beat Apple to the no-crease device, this and that, and well, well, well. As a Z Fold owner, I knew this was going to happen. My Fold 7 has a crease, and my 8 Ultra will have one also. After a few folds, it will be noticeable. This is not news to me, but I do love seeing the ignorance of the people here when they said they beat Apple to releasing the device with no crease first, and then this happens. Amazing how ignorant people are, especially on this forum."
I just want a normal sized phone that will fold down into one third of the size with a lot less weight. I don't need a great big phone and I definitely don't want to be carrying one around all day.
