Picture this...every cellular tower in the usa falling hard and becoming unusable. Every cellular company begging even at billions in loss for our buisiness. But we all say no thanks. They all fold and we never hear from or about cellular ever again. The public creates their own free enterprise of communication networks against the rule of law and live happier lives not having to beg with a greedy cellular company ever again. Wonderful thought, though.

I already switched to an MVNO, but more because of T-MO's price increases than this move. On US Mobile I'm paying $27 a month for all the data my wife and I need (two lines), and still on t-mo's excellent (in my area) network.

This was written in blood when ATT reconnected with its old baby bells and Verizon merged with WorldComm was allowed. The industry will downsize to a few companies that are solely interested in profits by any means. TMO got Sprint and TMO independent dealers saw a complete change in how it does business. TMO changed everything to chase away independent dealers and the company stores are next. As for CS staff, that's going to be outsourced like the other telecoms. People are an expensive roadblock to greater profits.

Welcome to late stage American capitalism. Profits aren't just the most important thing, they're the ONLY thing. The CEOs of virtually every large American corporation would sell their own children to add $1 to the share price of their stock.

The issue of shedding customer service reps is in my opinion huge. As a T-Mobile long time business customer (over 9 years) I used to feel valued. You had a business line you could call and get prompt service. You could reach out on messenger and get a relatively quick response. But when there is an issue where you need to talk to someone I am finding it difficult to get any response. The new T-Mobile reminds of when I was with Verizon. There is not any kind of care for the customer. I used to sing T-Mobile's praises to family, friends and colleagues. I haven't done that for going on 2 years. I miss the old T-Mobile. Today, I waited over 2 hours on T-Mobile's Messenger page and never received a response.

I switched to US Mobile. They actually answered the phone when I called. And I'm saving a ton of money, while still on t-mob's network.

I have T-Mobile but I don't have the T-Life App.

That's fine, until you need support. I couldn't even port my lines to an MVNO without using the app.

I left T-Mobile about a year ago for US Mobile and haven't looked back. Two price increases when I was on the 'we'll never change your price' plan was enough (should have left on the first one). Vote with your feet, folks. Switching is not as painful as you might expect.

Feel so bad for US Cellular customers and employees

Ah yes. I spent 20+ years with US Cellular. Never had any real issues. And if I did I just went to the nearest store which were plentiful.

I've been with TMobile for a couple of months now. The night they forced the change through I just got a push notification on my phone and then it rebooted. After the reboot not only did it insist on TLife but then TLife installed dozens and dozens of bloatcrap apps. After I systematically went through and deleted all the social media and 'games' then I realized that I no longer had any bars. My phone is 'WiFi calling' only. Because TMobile bought my account but not the towers that I was running off of so I have no bars at home... in spite of the fact that TMobile still claims to cover this area. Which I realized after my ISP had a huge DDOS attack and I was without internet (and therefore no landline or cell phone) for several days.

I hate TMobile. They have tried three more time to install all that bloat. I gave up and removed TLife because no one needs to deal with that crap every time they reboot. Since they canceled my autopay I use my daughter's school laptop to pay my bill.

I mostly ended up here because I was trying to find a replacement for TMobile because apparently no one considered the towers around me to be worth picking up. I'm so frustrated I would gladly time travel back 90's when I wasn't required to have a freaking cellphone.

Not a fan of late stage capitalism.

Well! All that we need to do is look at who is in the White House, that's all that he is about $$$$$$. He should have never become President but the 44th sat up laughing about him being Unelectable and 7 million people of color didn't go vote. He's living high and mighty now, look at what he did to to that neighborhood where he built his library. Politicians don't give a crap about the voters anymore, they're too busy at the public trough feeding themselves and their families. T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, all of these other companies are about fatting their pockets and could care less about the consumer. Just wait till they get AI up and going, there won't be jobs for any humans, just the few to keep AI working.
