The app has worked perfectly every time I've used it. Upgraded 2 phones, a watch and have 2 trackers, phone service level, not one problem. All my discounts stay good and if I need to communicate with someone there is that option thru chat. I have the T-Mobile credit card so I receive my line discounts. I'm 63 so it can't be that difficult. Young people can be so stubborn.....

The app hasn't worked correctly for me for 2 weeks now. T-MOBILE has no clue how to fix it all I get is they are aware of the problem. For some strange reason it thinks I'm on a government plan and I am not.

Install the app when you need to do something, and uninstall it after. I don't see the big deal.

A few days ago I needed a transfer pin and canceling the port out protection for my lines to get away from t mobile.

It only could be done with t life. It didn't work, even the employee who finally took over the screen couldn't handle it. Finally the tech support helped. Spent 2 hours on this .

Let's hope other carriers won't copy this foolishness.

The app is actually pretty great and has improved a LOT in the last 6 months. They did a complete UI overhaul and it feels noticeably faster than before, although it still lags here and there. It also shows you a LOT of detailed information about your account. If all the functionalities work great, why is this such an issue?

I would imagine this only being an issue for elderly people who aren't used to smartphones. It would indeed be nice if T-Mo provided a direct to human option for such people. Or they know that such people make up a very small % of their customer base and are willing to lose them, which would be such a sad and evil decision to make.
