Actually, there is a huge difference here. Unlike the hardware defects often seen in Pixel devices, the nano-texture finish on the iPhone Duo is a deliberate design choice rather than a manufacturing flaw.

"Course, I don't expect the Fold to be as fragile as say something that is trifolding."

This foldable from Google is prone to bending backward too easily. It's like a game of Bend It Like Beckham. Junk google like usual less ram old display tech bends backward sh!t what else can go wrong ohhh yeas the $100 price hike.

Did that 🤡 give you a barrel of hypocrisy whiskey or something? You're as delusional as ever lol. Funny how you always told me to focus on the topic yet here you are deflecting because you know that the Dud is just that, a DUD, and the iPhone 18 series is showing weak demand in the smartphone market.

Apple having issues, no way. Someone better check on Tuga lol before he has an aneurysm. He's a bigger bootlicker than that other 🤡.

Course, I don't expect the Fold to be as fragile as say something that is trifolding.

You're so bad, even if you are right about Tuga.

As far as whether a trifold is more fragile vs a device that folds only once? Honestly I don't think it matter. They both suffer from the same weakness by folding.

I got my wife the Flip 5 which she had no issues with. We upgraded to the 6, and 6 months later it needed the screen replaced. So I suggested to her, when you are at home using your phone, just keep it open all day and only close it when you are done. How long the screen lasts will solely depend on how often you open and close it. If you only open it 10 times a day vs 100 times a day, that mean you have 90 more times to spread over more time vs all at once.

As cool as the devices are, I still stand behind my reasoning that they are stupid, because it is designed to fail. I know some people have had their phones for several years and they have had any issues. That is great and I don't want them too. But I have Samsung phones that are very old. I still have my S3, S4, Note 3 and a Note 7 and I am never in fear if them not working. I still have other old phones too like my Droid Incredible, iPhone 4 and 4S and they are still working.

The crease is "NEVER" going to go away, no matter what kind of stupid tricks they do to try to conceal it. If something folds it has to have a crease because something to rigid wont be able to fold.

Once this phone is released, I give it one month of usage and the crease depth will be exactly liek any other foldable. It is gonna be deep, very easy to feel and see. This marketing is nothign more than smoke and mirrors to get people to think it is ok to spend $2000 for a phone liek this.

A smaller high end tablet is a much better option for far less money.

Huh? You're wrong. Many choice made my OEM's can be flawed, because the chosen design itself can cause problems.

Here are some factual examples. When you make a phone bigger, you have to design it to be more rigid, so that it is not easy to bend. When Samsung 1st made a big phone, ypou could not bend it like a piece if paper because they used a high grade of aluminum and use structure reinforcement. Apple didn't so this with the iPhone 6 and you can clearly see its design was flawed.

Tablets - The iPad as we have seen over the years, has been much easier to bend vs ANY other tablet on the market. This is a proven fact that you cannot change. It is because its design is flawed because the material is not strengthen to resist bending.

What makes this weird is that, Samsung products tend to be much lighter in weight vs Apple. Heavier products should be stronger, but Apple products though weight more tend to be more fragile. This is fact not fiction.

Your claim that a matte screen is now a flaw is not 100% correct based on the info in front of your face. It causes problems. The articles says a matte screen doesn't work well with writing devices. It causes less sharpness and less brightness. Those sound like flaws to me.

The positive of a matte screen is the same as it is on the casing. It resists things like greasy fingerprints and smudges and yes it is easier to clean because it gets less dirty. But that doesn't take away the cons of it, that you are purposely omitting because it is Apple.

And glass displays aren't any harder to clean, you just need to use the right kind of cloth to clean them. And maybe people should stop using their phones when they are eating greasy food or wet hands from sweating after they've been running or something.

Electronics are too expensive and are made from the cheapest materials like aluminum and glass that are not resilient to the abuse we put them through day by day. Plastic phones yes don't feel as cool, but they stand up better to the type of abuse they are gonna receive.

No matter what you claim, regardless of brand; they products are flawed as soon as they are manufactured. They are designed with planned adolescence so that you buy over and over again.

I have products and so do people I know, like tv's and cd players, VCR's, amplifiers and more that we have had for decades and they have never been repaired, never stopped working and back then were considered expensive. Todays products cost as much as 10x's more and barely even last a year.

I love this. Android fans girls have absolutely nothing to pick on regarding the Apple foldable, so they have to make something up. It's incredible.

The iPhone 18 Pro Max completely milled the S26 Ultra in every category. It’s no surprise that Samsung and Google fans girls are feeling defensive now that the iPhone Duo has raised the bar for foldables as well.

Apple Pussycat, what about 60W charging, stylus, anti glare privacy display and Android freedom? Your Pussycat phone 18 pro max is a pussycat toy in front of a truly pocket pc S26U!

Much ado about nothing, as usual. An obscene number of Apple users actually pay extra to have a nano texture display on their MacBooks, so I seriously doubt anyone's going to be sending the thing back. On the Android side, I've lost count of how many reviewers recommend putting a matte screen protector on your phone.
