Some Phonearena readers might want to never visit this website after reading this article and many other BS pieces published on Phonearena lately. Everything Phonearena is publishing is becoming clickbait and BS😳

Oppo Find N7 less visible crease and they didn't have to resort to that crappy matte screen gimmick. 🤣

I anticipated this issue as soon as reports surfaced that Apple was using a matte, anti-glare finish. Unlike the Samsung S26 Ultra, which integrates its anti-reflective technology directly into the display panel, Apple’s implementation feels like a superficial add-on that sacrifices both clarity and resolution. It is clear I am not the only one concerned about this trade-off, but I look forward to seeing all excuses that will be used to defend it. Why compromise on core display quality just to hide the crease?

My Huawei MatePad Mini has a PaperMatte display, and I do not notice any loss in clarity on it. I'm curious at to what technique Huawei is using vs what Apple is using.

Apple having issues, no way. Someone better check on Tuga lol before he has an aneurysm. He's a bigger bootlicker than that other 🤡.

Course, I don't expect the Fold to be as fragile as say something that is trifolding.

This was my initial concern as well watching the event. Matte screens historically have a tendency to "wash" out the image, make dark blacks look more gray, etc. I for one, while excited about what the duo brings, am hesitant and will wait to see it in the wild before pulling the trigger on a $2k purchase. Any one else also notice how large the icons and text look on this thing? I hope there is an option to change that.

Actually, there is a huge difference here. Unlike the hardware defects often seen in Pixel devices, the nano-texture finish on the iPhone Duo is a deliberate design choice rather than a manufacturing flaw.

"Course, I don't expect the Fold to be as fragile as say something that is trifolding."

This foldable from Google is prone to bending backward too easily. It's like a game of Bend It Like Beckham. Junk google like usual less ram old display tech bends backward sh!t what else can go wrong ohhh yeas the $100 price hike.

I love this. Android fans girls have absolutely nothing to pick on regarding the Apple foldable, so they have to make something up. It's incredible.

The iPhone 18 Pro Max completely milled the S26 Ultra in every category. It’s no surprise that Samsung and Google fans girls are feeling defensive now that the iPhone Duo has raised the bar for foldables as well.
