The phone has a warranty. If it has an issue, if you bought it from a carrier, they have to replace it. If you bought it from Samsung, they will replace it. If you bought it from a retailer, Samsung will replace it.

As far as the eye-strain. This is only caused by people being on they phone all the time. Put it down.

We think moving forward Samsung should consider building it into the screen itself and adding a film built into the glass. The reason is turning privacy display on might affect the bulbs in the display especially if its on permanently. We think Samsung owners should turn it on in certain situations like in transit, at a close nit gathering and not every single moment. Samsung could help mitigate the issue by not using software. A tougher screen with the elements built in to the screen is enough. Please use a filter with a warm color with the phone as well to help combat eye strain.

Remember you are not just buying a $1000$ plus phone your also buying the lighting and components that come with the phone and just like any household appliance they need to be switched off once in a while.

When we had a motorola we had eye strain as well and it's not necessarily looking at the phone for a long time it's the angle at which you hold the phone.

I like to place my phone on my laps and type so the distance 180 degrees helps mitigate eye strain. Most people hold it at 60 to 70 being engrossed in what ever their doing on it. The person next to you can't see what your doing from that distance so that is the true privacy display.

Just get screen protector with blue eyes filtering.

Anyway buying phone with such new, expensive technology is not the best idea as there might be defects in first release of new technology...

Samsung is known from anti-consumer practices...
