The reliability of both brands means it's down to preference. If you have the money to for both go for it. Having a pencil will be cool for those who do a lot more fine tuning and take notes but I'd suggest people just buy an iPad in addition. The Apple fold doesn't look big enough to accommodate any pen inputs and the size of the pen might have to change significantly to match the smaller size screen this means it might not be included and may have to be sold separately. Housing the pen might provide an extra way to protect the screen from accidental falls but I'd advice Apple to sell it separately as a user preference rather than spending so much to alter the look to accommodate it. Learn from Samsung easier to fit, comfortable to hold and backed by world class software that doesn't hurt to handle.

Have there ever been more comparison articles written about a vaporware phone in the history of phones?

I don't think there were this many articles about the iPhone before it was announced. Phone Arenas' level of glaze about this phone is uncanny.
