The real question is whether this feature will be properly refined or if it will suffer from the same defects as before. As far as we know, there is still no fix for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, even though the device is nearly a year old. This confirms my concern that Samsung and other Android OEMs are comfortable leaving users with defective hardware, only to move on to the next generation without ever addressing existing issues.
While the privacy display is a great concept, it’s problematic when the screen hardware is defective. Many users have reported eye strain, yet these issues remain unaddressed a year later. It’s disappointing that Samsung continues to push new iterations rather than fixing or recalling the faulty panels in the current generation. Great work, Samsung.

The S26 doesn't have a defective screen. The Duo does though. Funny how you havent said jack about it though.
Trolls are just terrible people in general.
The Galaxy S26u screen is definitely defective; there are widespread reports online about it causing significant eye strain for users.
Some Galaxy S26 Ultra units have developed a defect, but Samsung may turn a blind eye
