But you aren't even considering an Android device at all, let alone a Pixel. So how would you be upset?

What gave you the assumption that I'm not considering Android devices? I use a Vivo X Fold 5 with my Huawei Pura X and Huawei Matepad Mini as my daily drivers, and I am going to purchase the Vivo X Fold 6. I'm sure you know that Vivo makes Android devices.

For the record, I also own a Vivo X Fold 2, Honor Magic V2 and V3, Honor Magic 6 Pro (and I'm going to purchase another Honor device, just undecided on which one), Thinkphone by Lenovo-Motorola, and a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5. All of those devices, as you know, run Android. My Huawei Mate X3 runs EMUI, which is Android, just no native GMS. I prefer HarmonyOS 5 and above due to the lack of Android in it. I find it to be more intuitive, smoother and snappier without the Android code, but I don't have a problem with Android. That is a misconception. I do have a problem with Googles implementation of Android on Pixel smartphones, because of all the bugs and issues. I previously owned the Pixels 4XL, 6Pro, 7a, 8 Pro, and 9 Pro, but have since gotten rid of them. I don't speak from lack of experience. The 🧟 does that.
