As a Moto user, it's difficult for me to choose which one to purchase. On one hand, the Signature 27 is Moto's flagship with the best cameras and familiar form factor. However, the RAZR Flex 27 seems to be a promising foldable with an interesting aspect ratio but with only 2 cameras.

At $1600, I would expect 16 Gig Ram and a terabyte of storage at a minimum.

Wow Motorola, you finally have a phone that's interesting and you charge the price of a foldable for it.

I get it, it's top of the line. It competes with the Samsungs, the Pixels, and the iPhone and is better in some respects. But you're Motorola. That's not how you get the average people to buy and get your phone for $1,600.

Hint: I've been buying Motorola phones for over a decade, and I've never paid full MSRP. If you buy at launch, there will be pre-order deals + trade-in. If you wait a month, there will be Black Friday deals in Nov. If you wait until next year, the base price will drop around Jan/Feb. Also, carriers like Verizon may offer further deals on top of all that if you buy from them. Take your pick (if you pay full price, you probably aren't tracking prices, or can afford to pay through the nose).

I remember in 2015 when phones jumped up to $800, I paid $500 for the Motorola DROID Turbo 2 by ordering early, and getting it through a deal on Verizon.

100% agree. But I am assuming you being on this website that you are a phone and tech enthusiast like me. The average person like people that buy iPhones and stuff, they don't know any better. They really don't know anything. So if Motorola wants to get attention, they should release it at least at what the Galaxy S26 Ultra costs. And at that price, the discounts on it will probably make it the cost of a base S26 Ultra. I feel like they're in a position right now where they could really start making some noise. I mean, it worked for the Pixel at first when they released them at a more affordable price. Motorola has great phones now, and they absolutely are every bit as good as a Pixel or a Galaxy. But they don't have the name brand recognition anymore. Most people view Motorola as the cheap prepaid phone maker.
