Here's an idea! When trying to make the case who has the most

folding phones or what not, instead of doing it via the COMPANY,

do it via the OPERATING SYSTEM. We all know that Android as a

whole, outsells iOS. 😉

Course it'll be a hit, iOS users have ONE option. You want to try a folding phone, you buy the Apple Duo. They've had nearly a decade of innovation and development from Android OEMs to steal from and help refine the product. Want an Android fold?

That's 13 legit phones you could buy to get a foldable experience on par with Duo.

However, the Duo doesn't innovate with anything, no Fold this year really does aside from the N6 with its creaseless design. Batterys are still pretty small, camera's are still below Pro level slab quality, let alone anywhere close to Ultra quality. The Duo hasn't advanced the market in any meaningful way. Oh wow it has a cool opening animation, that isn't innovative, its just creative UI thinking. Its hardware design is hands down the ugliest with its asymmetrical design.

Your claim that the $1999 price pount wouldnt have been achievable a couple years ago is a COMPLETE LIE.

How is it every other foldable everyone else has had has been at this price point? How much was the Fold 7? Fold 6? Fold 5?

The Z Fold 5 was starting at $1799, Fold 6 was $1899 and the Fold 7 starts at $1999.

That means even if APple was $100 more liek now, they would be price just as it is now.

They know that. That is why they talk per manufacturer and not by platforms, Because by platform, Apple loses to 2 of them. They lose to Windows and they lose to Android.

That is why I laugh. 1B phones have sold almost every year since about 2013. Android alone has represent over 800M of them at the least most of the time. Samsung is to Google what HP and Dell are to Microsoft. They are the biggest sellers of their platform.

Since APple is just one company they wanna play on the numbers because if they mentioned it any other way, it paints them as losers.

Apple chose to back themselves into a corner both at the desktop and at Mobile by taking their products an only limiting their market to be able ot charge high prices and lock people in.

This is why when Jobs came back to Apple, he bought all the Mac OS licenses Scully sold because people basically stopped buy Apple's stuff in favor of better pricing. This is how Compaq and other Windows OEM's killed off IBM.

Android is the blessing to this mobile market that prevent Apple from locking us all in a dungeon and making them even more rich. Imagine how much money APple would have is they sold 400M iPhone's in a year liek Samsung did. Imagine what the PC market would look like if Apple had their way.

The fanatics know what they are doing when they are being deceptive. This is the same BS they did about specs. When Samsung or anyone else liek Intel was the spec kings, they all talked a whole bunch of BS. Samsung is cheating because SoC's dont run full tilt all the time, it isn't real world experience and blah blah blah. Then once APple got faster, then oh my gosh, now all benchmarks matter when they are winning, but when they were losing benchmarks didn't matter. They are a bunch of opportunists.

This is why they are silent when Apple is having issues, but here talking smack when its another OEM. They have an insatiable inferiority complex just liek Steve Jobs. He certainly trained them well. It is amazing how many of these fanatics are lawyers, and doctors and rocket scientists and yet the majority are still a bunch of dummies.
