Alright, so after going on XiaoHongShu this morning... I'll eat my words. I'll probably get the black and purple. My girlfriend knew I would before I did. She sent me a XHS post and was like, "When you get this one, can I have your XT?" haha The black and purple is just TOO pretty to not get. I also like the IP58 protection since the XT has nothing of the sort. I won't have to panic so much when I'm at the pool if it gets splashed. (Although pool water is still terrible for it). I may make a YouTube video called, "Hey Bruce" when I unbox it. And then show how minimal the effort is to get all of my US apps on it (no side loading or crazy shenanigans haha).

And still, the latest coping mechanism, false narratives, biased anti Huawei propaganda, and ⛽ 💡ing is being brought to you by beatricedubya aka 🧟🤡😠😤😡🤬 😭, and it's all because I said something factual that she doesn't agree with, and still can't factually dispute because she lacks any type of experience with HarmonyOS powered devices or knowledge of smart devices market share, growth, etc. She doesn't even know how imports work, as importing is not a workaround. She keeps trying to compare Huawei's software offerings to that of other, now defunct, software platforms, while turning a blind eye to the fact that Huawei has been thriving without Google Services with a platform that continues to grow. Huawei also has the benefit of growing its platform in the largest market for smartphones in the world, which is one where Huawei is the top OEM. There is other context that she continues to turn a blind eye to, but we won't talk about that yet. And for someone that $hill$ for a forever beta and buggy phone, calling something else beta, especially when it isn't, is extremely hypocritical. 😏

Lol, give me a shout-out. 🤣 But still, I trust your word and judgement as a mature, level headed Huawei user who isn't aggressively combative just because of some comments made in an OPEN FORUM.

That's all I'm seeing 👇 from the usual suspects lol. Imagine having a massive aneurysm just because I said that this phone is pretty much a paperweight outside of China lol. Lol, the Queenest 🤡🤓 wants to say a certain platform soo badly lol, and they already know I'm prepared to call them out on it should they decide to partake in the usual hypocrisy agenda.

And now she's flip flopping like a 🐟 out of 🌊 because another Huawei user called her out and stated they her the minimal effort exerted to get all U.S. apps on a Huawei device, no sideloading or shenanigans necessary, like a certain OEM needs to sideload workarounds for bug fixes. In other words, beatricedubya acknowledges that what I've been saying is factual, and that she's just trolling. 😏

Yeah, like it was HARD the first year of the ban, ngl. Then they did an "Update" to the Mate Xs2 that game me the "Home Away" app. Before that I had to do some wonky stuff and add gbox. So now, in most larger Huawei Stores, they even have advertising for Home Away and explain almost all google things are there. NOW, you can even have it set to update your apps automatically like the google play store does.

My BIGGEST issue with it for now is I can't do Gboard or Google Messages. Which since I like textra, the Google messages thing doesn't kill me, and I've gotten used to other keyboards, it's just that I like the Emoji Kitchen on Gboard.

But I don't use a lot of apps on my phone anyways, but the ones I really need work fine: Priority Pass, American Airlines, United Airlines, Uber, Chat GPT (which I find funny because it's actually banned in China but I can use it on a Chinese phone haha), Translate, Gmail, Youtube, Outlook, and Google Maps (Waze works too). So all in all, it's not terrible.

I make it akin to when I used to use the Amazon App Store instead of Google Play. Apparently I was one of the ONLY ones that did. haha

Either way, if I remember, when I get it I'll make an unboxing video and show you the set up. I know you won't ever get one, but that way you can see it and it's not just random words on a computer screen. Have a great day Batman!

🙄. Imagine getting this worked up over some comments in an OPEN FORUM. And once again, Queenest 🤡🤓 is still resorting to cheap, and hominem gender attacks just because I called a spade a spade. Just because I respected ECP's more neutral and level headed perspective regarding Huawei doesn't change the fact that I still consider this an expensive paperweight outside of China. Keep crying 👇 there with the nuclear level butthurt. 😏

Sounds good. I enjoy your perspective regarding Huawei without the added bias and aggression of 🤥🤓. My only gripe is compatibility and of course access to Google services. That's essential for me.

Yeah, I'm THINKING about buying the new iFold even though I haven't used an iPhone since the 14 Pro Max extra (whatever they're called). The Green one. And even then I only had it so when my former mother in law came she could use it. haha

But instead of talking smack about it, I'd rather use it for a month or two and then have a true comparison. I just wish I didn't think it was so ugly. haha
