I think its time Google give up the hardware game. Of any OEM they've fallen behind the most, terrible camera hardware, awful battery, worst CPU on the market. Just not worth flagship pricing anymore.

Wait so removing the telephoto lens and charging more for the base model? Does Google understand that It'll be DOA? No one will buy the base model if that's the case.

I used to be a Pixel fan. But I have had enough with their hardware issues, and their aggressive background app killer and memory management is night and day compared to modern flagship standards.

I contacted WondaMobile on a Monday, they shipped out my Oppo Find X9 Ultra (Global) on the same day, and I received it on Thursday. Total cost including shipping was $1513.57.

Point-and-shoot photos are beautiful, and the memory retention keeps everything frozen right where I left it without random app reloads.

Better yet, setup in the US was effortless. I simply popped in my T-Mobile SIM card and it was recognized immediately—full 4G LTE and 5G UC snapped right up with zero hassle, along with VoLTE, Wi-Fi Calling, and hotspot working out of the box.

What really sealed the deal for me, though, is the battery and charging setup:

100W SUPERVOOC Charging: Going from 0 to 100% takes roughly 35 to 45 minutes flat—plus 50W wireless. Google is still dragging its feet with sluggish charging speeds, forcing you to sit on a cord for well over an hour just to top off a much smaller pack.

Between hardware reliability, zero network headaches, zero battery anxiety, and instant top-offs, paying $1,400+ for Google's under-spec'd incremental upgrades made no sense anymore.

The base P11 will have a telephoto lens that is improved at up to 30X super res zoom...

Wrong, At least In the USA & CDA it's Apple or Samsung the only viable alternative is PIXEL...they are also the best value when the special pricing applies which happens on a regular basis...like when they are on pre order like next week! The one thing that is true they need to up there game on software bugs.
