They had a whole lawsuit because they lied I don't think they're being considered king of AI in anyway. They do makes some damn nice processors though

I'm not a big Apple fan so I may have missed this previously, but is Siri AI 100% on-device computing or is it web-based? Going through my emails, texts and calendars is not something I would be comfortable with outside of my device.

Alan.. I'm just checking. You do know Apple Intelligence is Google Gemini right?

It's exactly zero chance that I would want a systemwide AI client searching through my stuff. Hard pass on that one.

That is true. But the Siri implementation is still considered Apple Intelligence.

Not on 4/1/27 or 4/1/28 but maybe on 4/1/29. It's just how Apple does things. I will say this, Apple did a great job with Siri and yeah, it is Gemini, but it works very nicely outside of the couple of things I wrote in the article. I am now pleasantly surprised.

Apple still needs to use AI to improve quality of life, which is something Google does best.
