Oh look, Samsung having issues again yet no pitforks and vitriol. Hypocrites.

I wish these companies would stop copying each other.

I wonder if they requested that wish on their knees like they always do? 🤔

The same happened to me, and it was the WhatsApp backup process. It was fixed after a couple of days and a few app updates. I'm on beta so it's not totally unexpected for the app to fail or have somem bugs.

It's strange that it only affected Galaxy devices if the culprit was the app itself, but not unheard of.

I had to stop the background process every time I used the app to prevent the battery drain. Luckily it didn't last long.

Soooooooooo, WhatsApp is the culprit but you're blaming Samsung. Interesting.

Not necessarily blaming them. I'm more so calling out the hypocrisy regarding issues in general and how people seem to jump to conclusions.

Make no mistake, I have no problem with Samsung. I just don't like that they're being complacent with their cameras and they 🤬ing killed Samsung Pay, the MST part.
