Ultimately, it comes down to preference: if you want a foldable with iOS, you choose the iPhone, and if you prefer Android, you stick with Samsung or other brands. Having used both, I still believe nothing compares to the iOS experience; my Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is an incredible piece of hardware, but the OS doesn't come close to my 17 Pro Max. Apple's upcoming foldable will likely feature an iPad-style interface, which is undeniably the gold standard for tablets—no Android tablet truly competes with it. Seeing that level of optimization on a foldable will be a game changer; iPadOS is a powerhouse that really set a new bar for mobile multitasking.

Comments like this are so funny to me. There are fanboys on both sides. I've had samsung foldables including an 8 fold. I can never stick with them because the OS lacks polish. Once I got used to the seamless nature of apple products, I can't let it go. Android and Windows could achieve the same thing, but its apparently not a priority. If Microsoft made a phone again, it would likely come closer.

What polish? That's just a buzz word. If you just wanna use and like iOS, then do so. Android does everything iOS can do and then some.

If you want a toy that is nothing more than a glorified Blackberry, then go for it.

Even though most users who could use an iOS device, still prefer Android because it shares a lot in common with what they already do on their PC, and they don't have to relearn stupid backwards Apple way of doing things.

IOS isn't polished. Still there are things that require as many as 5 steps to accomplish while its 3 or less on Android.

Also the looks are deceiving. Its just like how other fancy things are. They look fancy and then after awhile its just as plain as anything else and boring. Which is exactly what IOS is. It is boring. That is why they make it pretty so you be stupid enough to keep looking at it, while you are doing almost nothing.

Apple's form over function ideology has you guys so mummified to stupidity. You all keep repeating that same BS. This isn't 2007 or 2009 or 2013 anymore.

Samsung devices play nice with Windows, which to this day IOS does not. Windows is the only reason why the iPhone even is still here, because no one was gonna just buy a Mac to use that monstrosity known as iTune's.

Just say iOS works best for you, and you don't have to talk crap about the other guy. That's the problem with peopel who have an inferiority complex. They always feel they gotta be better. BUt here is a fact for you. IOS and OSX may be nice, but they are not the best you can get. Marketshare has settled this decades ago.

So while Apple is raping your to keep you in their little hole in the corner, while they nickel and dime you for every cent vs platforms where you have choices which means prices will always favor the consumer and I'm never forced to stay and I can take it with me.

Versatility and flexibility has always won. No one cars what your phone looks like. The apps I use look almost identical on IOS vs Android. They work better on Android because they have more features and capabilities.

No matter how much you polish a car, it is still gonna get dirty and no matter how much lipstick you put on a pig, it will still be a pig.
