The company developed what it calls a nano-texture finish, which gives a matte effect and reduces glares and reflections.
We’re yet to put the iPhone Duo to a hands-on test, but so far it looks like Apple outdid all of its competitors. Even the Galaxy Z Fold 8, which is one of the greatest foldable smartphones ever released, lacks some basic things the Duo has, including a hinge that can stay partially open.
Rest assured, Android enthusiasts; it is highly probable that foldable devices within the Android ecosystem will adopt similar features in the coming year.
No it didn't the oppo find N7 has a less.visible crease. The new Xiaomi wide foldable also has a less visible crease and better cameras than the iPhone fold. The iPhones crease is a joke compared to the N7. Lol and nobody wants a matte screen. 🤣 Why is the inner screen matte?
I like how you hate Apple; we will see when the pre-orders go live, we will see who wants that matte screen.
I own and use the Fold 8 Ultra, and let me tell you, once I get my iPhone Duo, I don't think I'll ever use the 8 Ultra that much; the Apple Duo looks better in every single way, and even when you open the device, the screen transitions and the animations look amazing. Sit back, keep with that hate, and watch Apple break the foldable record.
I don't hate Apple I'm just not going to let you get away with trying to give Apple credit where it's not due. Of course it will sell really you Apple fans have been waiting 8 years I never said it wouldn't. Now, address my points. The find N7 has a less visible crease. The new Xiaomi has a zoom lens and also a better crease and neither of phones have an ugly matte screen to try and hide the crease.
I understand your perspective, but I think you're missing the bigger picture: for me, the primary factor is that those other devices don't run iOS. I’m happy to give credit where it’s due—I’ve owned both the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the 8 Ultra—but based on what I’ve seen so far, Apple has nailed the book-style foldable design. I’ll know for sure once I have the device in hand, but it looks like the most refined option currently available. Ultimately, for a complete experience, I believe it comes down to just two major players: Samsung and Apple. While other brands are fine, those are the only two I consider when purchasing a premium device.
Finally, a reasonable take. You prefer IOS great enjoy. Androids foldables are just as good if not better in several areas and the multitasking on the new Xiaomi is amazing
