"The tests found that, after 3,000 folds, the crease on the iPhone Duo had worsened considerably compared to how it looked like when the phone was brand new. On the other hand, the crease on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 retained most of its shallowness and appeared less noticeable than the crease on the iPhone Duo."
"Galaxy Z Fold 8 maintains a less noticeable crease compared to the first-generation iPhone Duo. In fact, the Galaxy Z Fold is probably a much more reliable foldable overall."
"App support on the iPhone Duo right now is spotty and the overall user experience for people who use many apps daily is much better on the Fold 8. The “FaceTime camera” as Apple calls it, which is the under-display camera on the inner screen, is also just downright bad"
"The nano-texture coating might be pretty good at hiding the crease on a brand new iPhone Duo but it can’t do much after the first few hundred folds. And, if the aforementioned design flaw is more common than it seems right now, then Apple might just have another “-gate” on its hands."
These are facts that only the most loyal iSheep could deny. Apple attempted to hide the display crease using a gimmicky coating, but it clearly backfired. It makes perfect sense that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 features a superior screen, as it doesn't rely on deceptive layers to alter the display quality. I have much more respect for Samsung’s honest approach; they have consistently refined their hardware generation after generation rather than resorting to marketing gimmicks to pretend the crease doesn't exist. Another fact is the apps sictuation, Apple's design of the Duo's UI makes it very hard for apps to look optimized because you will always have the status icons on the right side, Samsung Fold 8 got it right, even when apps are not optimized, they will always look better. It is scary to see all of these issues develop so early, there has to be definitely something very wrong, this will definitely make people think twice before paying 2k for a device that is failing in so many aspects. This keeps on happening to Apple year after year, BUGS/Issues/Flaws, i certainly believe that this is a direct result of all of the "Passes" they get from the fanboys.
