The Duo and economic pressures. It’s probably region dependent because it’s sold out in the USA. Other regions also have much higher prices. I’m enjoying my 18pro

High prices on pretty much anything with a chip, economy, food prices, oil/gas prices and minor updates each year, HOPEFULLY this will wean people off the gotta-have-a-new-one-every-year mentality.

Unless your phone is not working or damaged, I don't get the trade it in/throw it in the closet every year stuff.

Oh, but my carrier "gives" me a new one each year. Yeah, and locks you into an overpriced contract year after year.

Or its just because iPhone 18 is the same phone as 17...or 16.. or even 15. Like always. Only ones to act impressed or amazed is journalists.

Buying a new iPhone is like buying new socks. Meh..it's obviously new, but still meh.
