In recent years, everything has become so expensive that I have lost my compass. I no longer have a sense of what the real price is. It is clear to me that I do not earn enough. And the price of Samsung watches is too high. I bought my W7 when the W8 was introduced. W9 is similar ih features as W8...

I typically do the every 2-3 year upgrade, but I think unless any of my devices just flat out stop working, keeping them til they do or stop receiving updates. The "upgrades" to things like phones, watches, computers just isn't worth the price.

For me, the issue isn't the price. But still—500 euros for a watch that needs to be charged every two days, and takes two hours to charge! There isn't another watch on the market that charges this slowly—not even the cheapest ones. And you can't just charge it overnight like a phone; after all, one of its main functions is sleep tracking. And when, during the day, could I possibly go without a watch for two hours—and that, too, almost every single day? I even decided to buy a second one. I wear one while the other is charging. But then, some of the health tracking data gets interrupted, because they require wearing the same watch continuously for several days. For me, after this expensive experiment, Samsung is simply a closed book.

You aren't familiar with any other watches, so dont say no other watch takes this long to charge because it is false.

Thr Apple Watch ad an example, takes 2.5hrs to charge from 0%.

Also, you need to get yoir facts straight. The G alaxy Watch 8 series takes about 70mins to charge from 0 to 100%

Here, I Googled it which is exactjy what you could have done.

Yoir claims to how fast these watches charge is false. They all charge from 0 to 100 in about 80mins or less according to the facts.

Also, as far as your complaint about charging every other day. These are not the old school digital LCD watches that last year's on a tiny battery.

These smartwatch are running software which constantly have tasks that run in the background.

Don't get a smartwatch. Get a Garmin or just buy a regular watch.

I too agree to some point about having ro charge so quickly, but my complaint is more geared to the fact that we have to charge things we never had too.

Mobile phones have always needed charging. But charging watches, then headphones too is a bit too much.

The fact all these OEM's have stop including wired headphones in the box for phones that cost over $1000 is them cheating out and trying to increase profit at our expense.

I think that should be a bigger complaint.

In the past year, I purchased the Watch 7, as I dont really like the design of the latest models since.

Though I do think the Watch 8 Ultra in the white/silver looks pretty good in the pics.

I think the circle inside the square is definitely different, but i dont like it overall.

For me, I think their best Watch was the Watch Active 2. The automatic capability to sense what kind of workout you are doing was nice.
