My account wasn't forced to upgrade. I compared my magenta military and the experience beyond military. I will know get unlimited data not 100gb, unlimited hotspot for every line, my tablet and 2 watches are now 15 instead of 50, I can cancel my Hulu and apple tv and use the free version included with the new plan. Free satellite text/calls, We just received 1 year of doordash so that's another $10 in savings. With taxes and upgrading to the new plan it's going to cost me a whooping $12 more a month. I priced out the same/comparable plan from Verizon and. Att and it's not even close.

My wife and I have been with T Mobile for 20 years or so. We are sick of the constant increases. We don't WANT or need new features.. we are senior citizens and don't need higher quality videos or Netflix or whatever.

We will be leaving TMOBILE by the time our next bill hits

TMOBILE, you are greedy. You are losing a very long time customer.

I've been with Sprint/T Mob for more than 25 years. Monday I'm moving to US Mobile. It'll be less than half of my current price for essentially the same service. Will even remain on the T Mob network.

You do realize all the companies do the same thing right? ATT just raised their prices last month. Verizon has been expensive forever. So unless you are switching to mint, consumer cellular, or any of those lower tiered carriers you will be paying pretty much the same price. Sure you might get a better phone promotion because you are switching but you will be back at square one after a couple years. Not saying it isn't worth it, just saying you won't be a whole lot better off.

VZ and ATT aren't the only options. Look at MVNOs.

Remember when T-Mobile was a consumer friendly carrier? Pepperoni Farms remembers.

Seems my plan remains intact for now…but the people were so nice to me even when I went through a potentially deadly accident that I didn’t need consider.

There is a lot to like at USMobile. Glacial customer support is not one of them. But once you are setup, the performance is great for half the price or less!

Hearing good things about Visible which runs of the VW towers. If you pay a year in advance its about 32 dollars/line and has prioritized tower access with a decent amount of hot spot, fast HD streaming, canada/mexico coverage, unlimited data etc.. People say its as good as carrier access. IMO, some of the MVNO's are really good and for the most part 95 percent of users won't know any difference as long as you get a mid tier MVNO plan. I managed to get T mobile to give me 6 more months to keep my legacy plan the same. I told them otherwise I was going to start arbitration with t mobile and if they did not respond to the FCC. They don't want that as the wording was very strong from 2017-2019 price for life. They built their business on that push. There will be settlements coming forward but T mobile will keep it out of the courts. And believe me they will pay any amount it takes. I think they would lose that case under the fairness of advertising laws. But when my discount ends I'm off to Visible.

USMobile blows Visible away.

I was DigiphPCS customer in the late '90s which was then bought out by powertel. Powertel was bought out by voicestream in 2001. In 2002 T-Mobile bought voicestream. I had a grandfathered plan which sometime in the late 2000s T-Mobile convinced me to upgrade. Price lock guarantee. Sometime after 2010 they convinced me to upgrade my grandfathered (again) plan to their newest plan again with a price lock guarantee. Sometime around 2020 they convinced me to upgrade to magenta Plus. With a price lock guarantee. No rate increases ever! It's 2026 and T-Mobile has gotten rid of my guaranteed price plan and forced me to upgrade to new plan. No choice no options. My guaranteed price locked plan just went proof. In effect I have been with the same carrier for 28 years and I have never felt so upset with a company. My new rate plan that I was forced into has a 5-year price lock guarantee. They already broke that promise. What good is a new guarantee that my rate plan will not go up when they just made my rate plan go up after offering me a price lock guarantee?
