Depends on type of plan you choose and current promotion. Don't trust that any carrier is "more affordable" that the competition based on this.

T-Mobile is not the cheapest, and it was outlined in this article here. People are being forced off older/cheaper Grandfathered plans onto more expensive ones. Perks like free hotspot that were included, are now being charged nickel-and-dime style. Forever price-locks are being taken away, and replaced with a 1-year bill credit. And people are spending as much as $300 more than what they previously paid monthly. More expensive, for a lesser network.
It is difficult to compare plans due to issues like bundling, age, number of lines and similar.
One thing is sure- After being with t mobile for almost 19 years my patience is running out. One more price increase or other shenanigans and I am gone. Through bundling with my att fiber internet I can get a good price, don't have to go to mvno.
