Maybe I'm missing the point, but this seems more like a novelty than something that's actually useful. It can't do SO many things a smartphone can do, plus I'm assuming you have to talk to interact with it, which makes it less private.

I don’t need some inanimate product asking me how I’m doing today. That’s fake and stupid. I like what that Apple guy said on the interview. They want Siri AI to be less of a chat box and more of a task assistant.

you know what? nobody asked for AI to be shoved down our throats and nobody wants a full on crazu AI phone, this thing will end up just like the HTC facebook phone.

Maybe an AI phone isn't meant to be a smartphone, maybe it is just an assistant device. With AI capablitieswhen taking pictures, or have other AI features that can be useful.

So quick to say something is bad based on no knowledge whatsoever.

No one os shoving AI down your throat. You dont have to use any of it if you dont want too. Their are plenty of product you can buy thst dont have any AI capabilities whatsoever.

Those who want it, let them have it. But you dont even have anybody what the device actually is or will do. Having AI isnt bad.

The fact is, remember those movies where AI took over and killed all the humans because we v are actually our own problem? Well that all actually had an opportunity to happen.

If someone doesn't code the AI correctly which forces it to get information from us and not on its own, if it ever can make full decision without himan intervention, then we are in trouble and itbwont matter about your personal opinion aboit AI.

AI right now is a tool. If the tool doesn't benefit you, it doesn't mean the tool is bad. That is how all the goons here act. They act not liking something ad a reason thst everyone should feel the same.

I'm allowed to have a lot of skepticism for something based on a description of it. I'll give you that it's not a released product, but devils-advocate, you also don't have to blindly support this device you've never seen, touch, or used. Not every new piece of technology is a godsend. I'm sure some people will buy it, but I'm doubtful that this particular device will become "the next smartphone."

you’re wrong. I have now in increased amounts had to talk to AI chat bot instead.of customer assistance. And there’s no other way around.

also Viber now shows stupid ChatGPT pop up that takes a few taps to remove just to check your messages (good bye Viber - it’s getting deleted).

you pick up any browser and if you don’t configure it to be disabled will use some form of ai to sammarise your search. It’s not opt-in - it’s there set up the moment you start to use it. Most people have no idea that you can disable that.

and don’t get me started in work environments - I’m self employed contractor (so I doesn’t affect me). But my friends are now forced to use AI software and forced to train it by using it and submit corrections - literally fearing that they’re trading their own replacement.
