A discussion is a place, where people can voice their opinion, no matter if it
is positive, neutral or negative. However, when posting, one must stay true to the topic, and not just share some
random thoughts, which are not directly related to the matter.
Things that are NOT allowed:
Off-topic talk - you must stick to the subject of discussion
Offensive, hate speech - if you want to say something, say it politely
Spam/Advertisements - these posts are deleted
Multiple accounts - one person can have only one account
Impersonations and offensive nicknames - these accounts get banned
To help keep our community safe and free from spam, we apply temporary limits to newly created accounts:
New accounts created within the last 24 hours may experience restrictions on how frequently they can
post or comment.
These limits are in place as a precaution and will automatically lift.
Moderation is done by humans. We try to be as objective as possible and moderate with zero bias. If you think a
post should be moderated - please, report it.
Have a question about the rules or why you have been moderated/limited/banned? Please,
contact us.
This is incorrect. It is 100% user-based, not hardware. In the article it says "affected users would be contacted".
Immersive Navigation is a server-side deployment, having a supported phone model does not guarantee immediate access. Google activates accounts in continuous waves, prioritizing geographic regions with high-density 3D mapping data (like major U.S. metro areas).
There are instances on Reddit about 2 people having the same hardware/version but one person has it and another does not.
So if you had a Pixel 10, and they sent the update, and then you got a Pixel 11, you need Google to send the update again. But if they already sent it, it might take a while for them to notice you need it sent again.
Say what you want and try to deflect all you like, but the facts remain: Google has really dropped the ball on this one. It's just one issue after another. I don't think any brand can top Google when it comes to launching a device full of issues; it is just crazy. Every day there is a new defect or bug—it is absolutely non-stop.
Right! If this were any other product, she'd be complaining about why anyone would defend it, yet here she is defending this buggy Pixel 🗑️. Now watch her respond by going off topic, instead of at least trying to come up with a valid excuse to defend Google.

The new Pixel series seems to be plagued with issues; it's honestly a total disaster at this point.
New Pixel phone, more bugs. Nothing new here. Googles QC is non-existent.
It would seem the update to maps was tied to the device, not the user. Is this really a story?

All facts. And all bw can do is deflect like that 🤡 fool Karen used to do in BlackBerry articles.
It’s genuinely hilarious that he is still defending this hardware after being robbed blind by Google’s subpar quality control and feature regressions.
