Yes, that's correct. If Apple is paying them a premium price to get the new tech first, it makes good business sense for them to do it. We may not like it, but they don't care what we think because we'll buy a Samsung phone anyway.

Well put. The screens on the s26u (m14) has been used on apple devices for 2 years already.

No they don't. Naturally - they do give their best parts to their own products. It's just a matter of timing.

When they started designing and putting together their latest foldable they used the best parts available at the time.

Apple started designing and putting together their phone later. Thus getting access to other parts.

No they dont. Apple shops for whatever components is available and if apple is willing to pay more for a premium part then they get it.

I cant think of a time Apple got a better part vs what Samsjng uses in th3or own device. I think one year Apple just had a brighter display, but nothing else was better about it.

Apple bought a folding display, and spec out adding the extra layers. Samsung added the layers based on the client's request. That doesn't mean the screen is better than what Samsung is using. This layer on top is not an original part of the display, it was added at the request of Apple.

When Apple asks Samsung to make something, they are picking from an existing components that closely matches what they want. Then Apple may request something to be added or be cut a certain way. If they pay for it then Samsung has to make it. If Apple wants it brighter, making it brighter is easy, but you gotta pay. If Samsung decides it doesn't wanna make the display broghter for it's own phone, it doesn't mean Apple got a better part. They simply are getting what they paid for.

It like you going to buy a part for your car, you can choose the best part available, and then ask for some kind of customization.

This special layer Apple had added to the screen, the screen didn't come that way, it was a custom request. That doesn't mean it is a better part, it is just made to the spec the client asked an paid for.
