No need to read anything of this piece of crab , the author said it him self , iphone fold best feature is the animation

This shows that everyone in the media knows iphone did NOT bring anything useful for the fold category and the best thing they did is to create an animation for opening the device

And how much the fold need heavy propaganda to be a hit

It’s standard practice for the industry; Apple introduces a feature, and Android manufacturers immediately scramble to copy it rather than innovate on their own.

If this is the phone's best feature it is doomed.

This article is nothing but hilarious!

Apple copied the entire phone from Huawei Pura X. That's never mentioned.

And waaaaay too much credits is given to the Apple opening animation. When even that is a copy (with a tiny amount of added creativity) from Axiom Wallpapers for Android. That has been around for a couple of years.

And even the animation isn't anything new. It's a couple of years old. On Android it's called Axiom Wallpapers.

But hey... It's Apple.. masters of marketing. With help from biased media.

That's the thing—it's not actually the phone's best feature, but as usual, companies like Google and Samsung didn't think of it even though their foldables have been out for years. Apple did, and now the competition is scrambling to copy it. It’s amazing how these things play out, isn't it? Simple touches like this really make a big difference.

I have a Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and honestly, it feels quite boring compared to what I’ve seen of the iPhone Duo. I can’t wait to compare them; Apple’s attention to detail, particularly with these new animations, makes other foldables feel like they’re lagging behind.

You are delusional. Apple has been copying Android for a long time. When Steve Jobs died so did iPhone innovations. Just the foldable phone alone Android has had for years. Also, Android already has animations when you unfold the phone with Axiom Wallpapers. This year you also got live translation that Android has had for years. AI built in? Android has had that for a couple of years.

What else did Android have first? Home screen folders, system-wide dark mode, app locking and hiding, custom app icon tinting, home screen widgets, call screening, rcs messaging, call recording, free icon grid placement, the app drawer/library, live wallpaper, changing default apps, pull down notifications, actionable notifications, quick settings toggles, clear all notifications, picture-in-picture video, a local files app, predictive text and swiping to type, night mode photography, reading text from photos, multi camera systems.....I could go on, but I think I've made my point.

Oh, please. Taking something that already exists and pretending they created it has been Apple's MO since the iPhone's birth.

History is littered with this exact pattern: Retina Display was just standard high-PPI LCD panel manufacturing packaged into a memorable buzzword. "True Tone" was multi-channel ambient light white-balancing, which had been floating around consumer tech and photography monitors for ages.

"Dynamic Island" was essentially LG V10 second-screen functionality and Android notification bubbles restyled into a pill cutout.

Apple continues to create buzzwords to sell phones to the tech illiterate while pretending at innovation. And now this transition animation is touted as another apparent innovation when Axiom Wallpapers has existed for years.

This shameless clone of the Huawei Pura X is not fooling anyone with half a brain. Which, presumably, Apple doesn't want in their userbase anyways.
