Why do you act as if you didn't know this:

"Samsung provides a one-time free replacement of the inner screen protector within 12 months of purchase, with subsequent application charging $19.99"

Because that’s BS. Just ran a search:

  • Screen Protector Replacement: Samsungoffers one free replacement of the inner screen protector for eligible Galaxy Z Foldand Galaxy Z Flip devices purchased in the US within 12 months of purchase.  This covers peeling, bubbling, or lifting, but notdamage to the actual display panel.
  • Samsung Care+ Theft & Loss: Starting January 15, 2025, this specific tier of Samsung Care+ includes zero-dollar screen repairs, but this benefit excludes the folding displays of Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flipdevices, covering only standard slab-style phones like the Galaxy S series.

For accidental damage to the foldable screen outside of warranty, you must pay the repair cost, though Samsung may offer a one-time discounted repair for the interior folding screen on certain models like the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Flip5 if purchased within specific promotional windows.

so it’s only if there are warranty issues not damages by scratches or dust.

also Samsung version of Apple Care+ does not replace screens for free for foldables

Your colleague already wrote about this and got ridiculed for it.

Tiny detail: not only does the competition already have this feature. The competition does even offer free exchange at authorized service centers. The same thing Apple require Apple+ and $19 for.

Senior Reviews Writer have by Apple been diluted the same way the word genius have.

The article your colleague published. Just as bad and uninformed as this article.

Lol what do you get kickbacks from Apple???

I've been using foldable phone since the Fold 3 came out this is such a non-issue it's not even funny. I have peeled that inner screen protector off of every one of the phones I've had so far except for the 8 and the phones worked fine afterwards I don't need a screen protector on the front of my phone I don't need a screen protector on the inside of my phone I have never scratched my cell phones screen in my entire history of owning a cell phone.

It's funny seeing these articles from obvious Apple lovers trying to make the Duo some sort of groundbreaking device. You do realize that Samsung makes the foldable screen for the Duo right 🤣

Just like you all crowing saying they got rid of the crease I've seen pictures and the crease looks worse on the Duo than it does on my Fold 8. I can hold my phone in a certain light too and it doesn't look like it has a crease 🙄

If they want to be groundbreaking they could have made it lighter and thinner that would have been something different because as somebody that has owned and owns foldable phones every gram of weight and every millimeter of thickness makes a huge difference.

But a non foldable phone user and owner wouldn't understand these things.

Lol no they send you a new phone will the Samsung Care Plus you just call him if your phone's broke or lost and they send you another phone I had to get a new phone three times with the Fold 3 and twice with the Fold 6. Dropped them on concrete. They just send you a new phone for free.

It is crazy to observe how, regardless of how much better Apple's implementation might be, Android users often insist they had these features first or dismiss them as mere gimmicks. Even with the iPhone Duo's superior approach to foldable screen protection, the bias remains strong. Isn't it amazing how the narrative shifts the moment Apple enters the space?
