Not even remotely a deal breaker. Been left handed for 48 years. Don’t use special scissors. Don’t use special baseball mitts. I grew up learning how to live in a world that doesn’t coddle me. I don’t need Apple to make a special accommodation for me with the Duo. I’ll manage just fine. To assume it’s a handicap or a deal breaker is honestly more insulting than any “grievance” I could have with Apple.

The iPhone Duo is not rectangular. For this reason, the solution is not a simple software trick.

The real problem is how Apps will handle the wide format. There's already some apps that are cumbersome on the 17/18pro max because they put critical or common button/functions on the right side of the screen requiring a weird holding of the phone and/or two handed operations that right handers have no problem with because it's right under their thumb. If apple introduces a "left handed mode", then that would be something that app developers could leverage to swap controls on the side of the screen.

As a lefty here, also in no need of coddling, there's something to be said for having proper tools. I too can use regular scissors (but only good ones with tight blades), but it's so much easier to have lefties (I enjoy handing my lefty scissors to a righty person--they suddenly understand why we lefty's can't cut a straight line to save our lives). A lefty option would give app developers the details they need to present common items on the proper side of the screen.
