It’s always the same story: Android OEMs continue to copy Apple, including their hardware designs. Some even have the audacity to make their devices look exactly like Apple’s, right down to the Liquid Glass UI, mimicking everything from the aesthetic to the way the apps run.

Petit detail.

iPhone takes the worst selfies of any flagships, as you can see in all comparison reviews.

That's the number one reason why PA almost have stopped comparing the iPhone against its rivals from the Android camp. The comments field gets filled with people laughing at how bad the iPhone performs.

Yeah I know lol dude.

The Apple iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max currently offer the best overall selfie camera performance on the market.

Top Overall Choice

The front-facing camera on Apple's flagship models delivers exceptional clarity, natural skin tones, and reliable low-light processing.

Just google a lil and you will see ohhh By the way DXOMARK also puts apple top their on selfie cameras I wonder why? Yeah let me guess you a android user who hates on apple ?

You mean DXO mark that is trying to show how good the iPhone 17 Pro is at focusing ...by showing this picture. They gave it highest score on focus - on a picture where the focus is on the leafs and not the woman's face. Her eye are clearly out of focus. Hilarious!

It’s the same old story—typical Android apologists will look for any excuse to ignore the consensus from Google, CNET, and every other major tech outlet.

If the iPhone's selfie camera is truly as bad as you claim, why would Android manufacturers continue to copy its hardware, such as this new sensor? Clearly, they only prioritize adopting features that actually provide a meaningful benefit.

In all the years I've owned smartphones, I think I've used the selfie camera once. And that was once when I was in a hotel, got up in the middle of the night, tripped, fell & busted my bottom lip.

I don't understand the obsession with selfies.

They can copy it and make the selfie quality better. iPhone 17 series' front selfie camera has a subpar quality tbh

I own an iPhone Air and the selfie camera quality is just plain bad. Ngl, the overly wide field of view is useful when taking selfie videos tho. Just the quality is not good at all

I haven't had any issues with the selfie camera on my iPhone 17 Pro Max. I haven't had any issues with the selfie camera on my iPhone 17 Pro Max; it works perfectly as intended.
