Total replacement is not the same as a rebranding, FYI.

One UI sounds much better as Galaxy OS would sound just like a fork of Android OS. It is Android OS with UI on top of it, giving different OS name when the OS is not different, it is Android is not OK for me. But it's just a name so i would not care that much. Either way, Galaxy OS sound like Bada OS from the past and we know how it ended. One UI has matured to the leading Android OS UI and preffered by milions, me no exception. AI integration is matter of work , not a matter of different name.

The new name sounds like a Company ready to embrace it's large workforce applying the right payment structures to retain the best talent. A company no longer taking advantage of naivety, language barriers and lack of industry politics for innovative ideas.

If your proposal is a billion dollar empire you should be earning the same.

Samsung has a history of rebranding its software, evolving from TouchWiz to One UI, so a shift to Galaxy OS wouldn't be entirely surprising. As long as the company continues to prioritize user experience and makes the software more intuitive, I don't mind the change. One UI was a significant improvement over TouchWiz and has been well-received, so I'm open to the next iteration as long as the focus remains on quality and performance. Galaxy OS also sound more in synch with the Galaxy echosystem.

Less AI would be better, but the "industry" has invested too much money & time to get rid of it. "it's the wave of the future" ya know. Yeah, and it's going to be the demise of the world once it screws everything up.
