People complain about the notch. Never do I notice it. The screen is so big if you miss out on such a small percentage of whatever you're using it for, it's just such a non event.

But in saying that, if you don't like the notch for aesthetic reasons, sure. It just doesn't affect usability at all.

I have the S7 Plus and would upgrade to the S11 Ultra immediately if not for the notch. I would rather not have a front camera, or have a wider frame.

Using portrait mode 95% of the time, I could ignore the notch of it was on the short end like on my phone, but when it is on the long side it disturbs all content.

I have the Galaxy s8 ultra. And I absolutely love it! I spend as much or more time on the tablet than my laptop. I am retired. And I have been using And building computers since the early 80s. I have a stand (actually advertised for apple which I hate but I digress) And I have a Bluetooth mouse it saves my rotator cuff. Been retired 4 years and I use it at least 6 hours every day.

Completely agree my S10 Ultra is not just a beast but an out.of control monster. Honestly I hate it and was hoping the S11 would be smaller and also go back to the Snapdragon. Now I'm wondering if I sell it for chump change and move to thr Tab S9 top end version.

I've had every Galaxy tab from the s2 to the s9. I didn't upgrade to the 10, and if they don't have an 11 inch s11, I won't be buying one of those either.

Interesting points of view here..I have been enjoying a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ and a Galaxy Tab S7FE since close to these models launch date, and the S7+ in particular has proven to be the perfect Tablet for our use, mainly consuming content, such as YouTube and Netfix on a regular basis.

The Quality of the display and overall performance is still fantastic, and sadly although now past Samsung's update and security policy cutoff date, I have no plans to replace either device as they are not used for any Apps that require a more secure environment. I guess we will use them to the point of failure, then decide which Samsung Tab to next purchase. As we always charge to a max if 80% SOC, the batteries on both still work like new as well..!

I personally would want a similar size Display when replacement time comes..around 12.4" is a perfect size for us to use and enjoy content and I don't mind if it is powered with a Mediatek processor as to all accounts they compare well to Snapdragon equivalents, but help keep the pricing lower.

I have also just now purchased a new Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra 512GB to update my still excellent S23 Ultra, and in Thailand it was just onsale online at equivalent of 900GBP and a new Galaxy Watch 8 Classic at 290GBP..Very happy..same price I paid for my S23 Ultra, 2 years ago and only a little more than I paid for my current Watch 4 Classic 4 years ago..soon to receive Samsung One UI 6.0/Android 16 too..Life is great with Samsung in our Family..!

Seriously

Give us a dang AMOLED knockoff of the Lenovo Legion instead. Yes, the SMALL one.

The best-ever Samsung tablet was a 7.7" ultrathin like a decade ago, and of course they stopped making anything like it

I think Samsung's failure relates more to utilizing 2nd and 3rd string hardware. Samsung covering all the screen size options is not a failure point really. The suthor just has a personality problem and is projecting his personal preferences upon the whole community. It's not a rational article.

Samsung ISN'T covering all the sizes, though

It doesn't have a one-handed flagship 8" like Lenovo does (for the Chinese domestic market, but still)

The reason that they use mediated is because it performs better, especially in ai.
