Discussion - T-Mobile takes the lead on a new breed of networks

Y'all doing a lot of boasting about T-Mobile but T-Mobile has most terrible coverage out of the big three Verizon has more coverage. Ain't nobody using 5G like that. So what are you saying? It doesn't even matter the technology is not even up to date

I’ve been with T-Mobile since March. I hate it! Mobile coverage sucks and home 5G internet is frustrating at best. I’m going back to Verizon tomorrow!

T-Mobile has excellent coverage and speeds pretty much everywhere but our home, the other two don't come close. We have gigabit internet at home so it's not a problem unless our home internet and/or power goes out, but that's when the towers get slammed and our service slows to the point where usually only texting can be done reliably unless we stand outside in the northeast corner of our property. No other carrier has closer towers so changing our carrier wouldn't fix that, it would only degrade our service elsewhere.

P.S. Putting "Even MVNOs are fine" as an answer to the poll question, "Is T-Mobile the connectivity king?", is stupid because they just resell service from the big three carriers, the connectivity is the big carrier's connectivity, not the MVNO's. Plus, about 40% of MVNOs run on T-Mobile so chances are more likely than not that the MVNO you're so happy with is just rebranded T-Mobile service.

Oh lord. Can't wait for the AI to hallucinate and take down half the country. Glad I switched to US Mobile which will let me swap networks, for a small fee, any time I want.

It all depends on where you are. Nationally its been well proven that T-Mob has by far the best 5G coverage. Where i am its great. Faster than most wifi, never drops. If another carrier is better where you live, then by all means switch.
