I have been saying this for a long time: if you can't beat them, join them. In this case Copy Them. I own top-tier devices from both platforms, including the iPhone 17 Pro Max and the Fold 8 ultra. Having tested these devices extensively, I can see where the industry is heading. You simply cannot ignore Apple's influence; they consistently stay one step ahead of the competition.

If by one step ahead, you mean 5 years behind, then absolutely true. DaTed cameras. Dated batteries, ugly as sin UI

Instead of iPhone it reminds me of the Redmi 15c for some reason.

I completely understand why Xiaomi might take inspiration from Apple's design language. They sell a small percentage of premium phones in China compared to Apple. In a saturated market like China, naming and designing your phone in the likeness of Apple might help sales.

Samsung is in a completely different position. Apple does not outsell them in SK and mimicking Apple's camera housing won't push sales to Apple's level.

By moving 1-2 camera modules up, this probably benefits Samsung by opening more room internally for cooling and the battery. That's the only possible inspiration I see.

The horizontal camera bar is about the only thing I like from Pixel phones, you said it perfectly:

"Besides, the current camera setup prevents Qi2 accessories from aligning properly. Many users also don't like how devices wobble on tables."

Suddenly the Camera Plateau is all the rage, I won’t be surprised if the S27 Ultra does follow the iPhone 17 Pro, other Android manufacturers have followed already, some of them have even used the name “17 Pro” and “Air” for their thin phones, lol.

iPhone 17 Pro-esque is so apt. 🙂

This is why Apple continues to be the number 1 premium smartphone manufacturer, because even Apple’s competitors give the nod to what Apple is doing by following, all that talk about AI has not helped Android manufacturers shift more premium units, in fact many have seen drops in market share as the market continues to choose Apple overwhelmingly.

I was speaking of Tuga. The iphone has been ugly for a long time. Only the 5S and X actually looked decent.

Sorry.

Hardware-wise, the Pixel is perfectly & beautifully built.

You are always fast to jump on anything that makes Apple seem like the perfection all others strive to emulate even if it involves completely unsubstantiated/speculative renders such as this. Wait a few weeks and a new render will pop up with a completely different design. Pathetic.

The sad part is that this is only the beginning of his asininity. This pathetic ignorance is a lead up until the iPhone is announced & released next month. It's like a horror film where you know the monster is coming but you can't do anything except endure the stupidity until it's finally put to an end...for now.
