So, when Google increased prices by $100 it was bad, but when Apple does it it's good?

The ultimate knob slobbing.

"iPhone Duo (I still can't get over that shockingly bland moniker!)"

Yeah, that name has already been used and has a negative association with a failed product. That's what happens when something is blatantly plagiarized.

Smartest thing Jobs did back in the day was sell/give away apple computers to SCHOOLS. Kid started using them & when kids, started wanting computers for birthday/Christmas, they wanted Apple. When they became adults, they bought Apple computers. When the iPhone came alone, they bought iPhone when they got married, had children, they got their kids apple computers & iphones.

The device is $1999-3199. So it is in the price range we figgure. I figured the starting price would be $2499 becaus ethat is Apple typical way. But $19999 for 256GB is expensive and that is certainly not enough soace. The 512GB model is probably gonna be what most get and with tax it will be close to $2400

And here in the US, you face to factor in carriers taxes, carriers insurance and you will be paying over $2500 for it even if you buy the base model.

So the math - $1999 + taxes is going to make the phones about $2250 give or take depending on where you live. The insurance is $25-30 per month, at minimum that is $300 per year and if you put this on a plan, that means 36 month or $900. So now we are over $3000+ of cost for 3 years of ownership. If you break the phone, you ahve to pay the deductible which is $300-400 for an out of warranty repair.

There is more to a phone other than its retail price,

Even if you don't pay for it outside and use a credit card and only make a minimum payment every month, it will take you 3-5 years to pay off $2000 which means with interest you will pay over $2500 for this phone.

You just trying to look at the retail price. Even if you pay cash and pay the $2200 outright, you still will or shold get insurance and it is still gonna cost you minimum $300 a year and you still gonna pay $2500 for it.

Stop with the semantics and playing on words. I was 100% correct sating this phone would cost $2500 to start.

And for anyone who lives outside the US, this phone is even more expensive do to import taxes in their countries.

In another article on PA, it said APple raised the cost in other countries to sell it this low in the US, to try to make up for Trump tariff's cost outside the US and making other countries pay instead of us.

Remember this fact, 1st party products cost more to make vs 3rd party. Samsung as an example still managed to make a better phone and its starting price is $100 cheaper, and yet is better.

Of course. Apple can never do know wrong. The hypocrisy and bias is off the chain here.
