"I think Google's latest Pixel price hike is an act of self-sabotage, and I refuse to stay silent"

I completely agree with this editorial. Google’s decision to increase the price of the Pixel 10a feels like a blatant act of self-sabotage that alienates the very users who made the A-series a success. At $599, the device simply loses its identity as a budget-friendly alternative, and I’m deeply concerned that this pricing strategy signals the beginning of the end for the entire line.

🙄 This article and the post 👇 is completely asinine. All OEMs, including the cult leader Apple, are raising prices, but you chose to single out Google. This just shows how ignorant and biased PA and the user 👇 has become.

Google has lost its way; it's copying crazy ideas from Samsung and Apple. What they need to do is focus. They should take the Pixel A series back to its roots and offer the phone in two sizes—a 6-inch model and a 6.7-inch XL—while ditching the base model, which makes no sense. Then keep the Pro at 6.3 inches and the XL at 6.8 inches. And if they really want to copy someone, they should look to Chinese companies—think 7,000mAh+ batteries and *real* fast charging (at least 80 watts). We’re almost in 2027; there’s no excuse for them to be this far behind.

That's overkill for a phone. A battery that big would make the phone look chunky. The Pixel A phones already have excellent battery capacities.

This is going to be the case for a lot of tech companies. Even the Chinese OEMs are having to raise prices. IIRC, the last Huawei article posted by PA mentioned this. It's happening across the board.
